Last week, our design team attended one of the most anticipated events in the design calendar - Clerkenwell Design Week. Set in the heart of London’s creative district, the festival brought together leading voices, visionary brands, and thousands of design enthusiasts for a celebration of innovation, sustainability, and the future of contemporary design.
The streets of Clerkenwell were alive with thought-provoking installations, pop-up showrooms, and hands-on workshops - all set against the backdrop of the district’s historic architecture. The programme was rich and diverse, offering insightful panels and talks that tackled some of the most pressing themes in our industry today.
Discovering What's Next in Design
Throughout the week, we explored a broad spectrum of emerging design trends that are set to shape 2025 and beyond. A clear focus was placed on material innovation and sustainability, from reimagining waste materials and circular design strategies to using natural textures and low-impact production methods. These aren’t just buzzwords - they’re becoming the foundation of a more conscious and considered design ethos.
We also saw exciting developments in colour and finish trends. Earthy tones, layered textures, and experimental contrasts were just some of the elements we encountered, reflecting a growing appetite for spaces that feel both tactile and expressive. The blending of digital aesthetics with natural materials also emerged as a key narrative, highlighting the increasing influence of technology in our creative processes.
Bringing Ideas to Life
Our team feels more inspired than ever after returning from the event, where they had the opportunity to observe trends, connect with other forward thinkers, question what they know, and imagine the possibilities.
In the months ahead, you’ll see these insights reflected in our projects - whether through bold material choices, sustainable design strategies, or simply a more daring, future-focused aesthetic. At the core of it all is our ongoing commitment: to create interiors that are not only beautiful and functional but also thoughtful, responsible, and relevant.
