Since 1998 we have been delivering the best possible service to our customers across the UK - our customers are our obsession and priority. Whilst we have been using all preventative measures to keep our offices open and installations running to plan, it is now essential that we now follow government guidance.

Delivery update

  • Our National Health and Safety advisor (IDipNEBOSH, RMaPS) has attended online training held by the World Health Organisation (WHO)
  • Our National H&S advisor has provided a detailed Safe Systems of Work that go beyond government guidelines
  • Our National H&S advisor has implemented new Health and Safety training for all staff
  • Any member of staff or members of the same household that display any symptoms are prohibited from working
  • We have introduced daily temperature checks for all employees working in a shared environment that are recorded.
  • We have invested in extensive PPE for all staff that includes: face masks, gloves, sanitiser, overshoes.
  • All Vans are equipped with a decontamination kit that are used on exit from every property
  • Increased signage throughout all depots regarding hygiene regulations
  • Social distancing implemented with enhanced floor markings and physical barriers
  • We have increased the cleaning regime at all depots
  • We have invested in an increased number of hand sanitization stations throughout offices and warehouses
  • We have removed the need for customer signatures on our devices and paperwork to reduce the risk of physical transference

On-going support

Fortunately, our IT department has worked some magic to ensure we can continue working from home when required. We are pleased to be able to reassure all our customers and partners that, despite this we will have the relevant procedures and preparations to maintain business as usual in terms of handling enquiries, supplying quotes and responding to new briefs.

Our emails are all being monitored and answered. Please be patient through this time, we are working as fast as we can, to provide you with the answers you need.


Our Interiors team

Our Interior consultants and design teams will be when needed working from home. They are online via mobile and email and are using ZOOM to schedule video meetings to share interior designs concepts and update clients on project plans.

While we have done everything to maintain business as usual, we feel that this is the most responsible course of action. If you have any questions regarding business continuity at David Phillips, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Availability Data

The colour-coded availability status is now updated every 15 minutes directly from our stock management system.
It currently shows only the availability in our London depot for delivery to areas serviced by that depot. See Delivery Areas section below.

Availability in Manchester

The availability from our Manchester depot may be different. If an item is not currently available in Manchester, we would be able to transfer it from London which might take another week. For deliveries to the north, please just place the order for the requested date and we will then confirm whether this can be fulfilled on time or, if not, the earliest date or suggested alternatives that would be available on time.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working to improve the website to show Manchester availability as well.

Where the status is Call for Next Availability, we will usually have new stock due in to London shortly. Additionally, we might have stock in Manchester we could transfer in a week.
If you would like a particular item that is Call for Next Availability and are able to wait for a short time, please contact our customer support team so we can advise when we would be able to deliver or suggest suitable alternative items.
