BTR and the circular economy
Back at the start of September, our CEO Nicholas Gill took part in a panel discussion about BTR and the circular economy. Also representing David Phillips was Tom Grey, Build to Rent Director at David Phillips, who ably moderated the discussion.
The panel discussion also promoted the launch for our sustainable furniture reuse system – Release.
Release is about giving pre-loved furniture a second lease of life. We take furniture no longer required but still in great condition and combine it with our teams’ skills and expertise to give it a spruce up ready for its next home.
Nick was part of an engaging line up of panellists, all of who are recognised thought leaders with years of industry experience. The line up included:
• Nick Gill – David Phillips, CEO
• Brendan Geraghty – UKAA, CEO
• Jackie Robinson – Get Living, Director of East Village
• John Inglis – Get Living, Head of Net Zero
• Andy Schmidt – Seismic, Chief Community Officer
• Hannah Marsh – Homeviews, Co-Founder & Chief Partnership Officer
Panellists discussed their views on why sustainability is important in the industry, as well as how the industry can work together better and find solutions.
For those who missed it, and for those who’d like to see it again, the insightful panel discussion is available to view below:
