David Phillips is pleased to announce strong growth performance in 2023, showcasing a 20% increase in year-on-year sales revenue and delivering a secure 8.5% net profit. This continued positive financial performance has set the stage for the largest-ever pipeline in the Group’s history, positioning David Phillips for further accelerated growth in the coming years.

After 19 years of dedicated service to David Phillips, Nick Gill will be leaving the Group. Nick’s departure comes at a time of real momentum, as evidenced by our robust 2023 performance. Under Nick’s leadership, the business has transformed from a local operation in 2005 to the market-leading provider of residential furniture for the UK property and real estate sector. Additionally, Nick successfully established international operations in Australia, Asia, and the UAE. His grit and determination steered the business through a successful turnaround between 2017-2019 and the turbulence of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nick is supporting the handover of responsibilities over the coming weeks to provide a seamless transition of relationships and key projects. We are immensely grateful for his support and leadership during this period. All of us at David Phillips would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Nick for his invaluable contributions.

We are pleased to announce that Ben Munn will be joining David Phillips as CEO. Ben brings extensive experience from JLL, where he served as the Global Managing Director for JLL Flex, a business line he founded in 2019. With a well-established career in commercial real estate and technology, including senior leadership roles at CBRE, IWG, and The Instant Group, Ben’s expertise will be instrumental in accelerating our momentum. We are excited to see how Ben’s leadership will drive our growth, expand our market share, and transform the way we support our clients.
