Blinds

Our made to measure selection includes roller, vertical, venetian, roman and panel blinds. For customers after motorized options, we have app-controlled varieties available. Our ranges come in different colour and fabrics options and fully comply with specific child safety requirements (BS EN13120). Please refer to our brochure for our range of fabrics and colours.

Curtains

Our made to measure curtains can be produced in a range of fabrics and finishes and include a choice of heading, interlining, and blackout lining options, along with a choice of tracks and poles. Please refer to our brochure for our range of fabrics and colours.

Blackout

For complete darkness when blinds or curtains are drawn, opt for blackout fabric. Blackout fabric blocks out 100% of light.

Dimout

Dimout fabric is sheer and lets a larger amount of light into a room, compared to our other options, while still maintaining privacy.

Voile

Voile fabric is sheer and lets a larger amount of light into a room compared to our other options, while still maintaining privacy.

Roller

Being the most popular blind style, roller blinds are a simple, practical and versatile option suitable for every room. A cost-effective solution offering privacy, light control, durability and child safety.

Vertical

Vertical blinds are a great modern and functional window dressing. Offering light control, they can make the windows look bigger and are particularly well suited to large or wide windows.

Panel

Panel blinds are a modern variation of vertical blinds ideal for larger windows, sliding glass doors, patio doors or even as room dividers. They allow light and privacy to be controlled for larger window spaces.

Venetian

Venetian blinds, with their sleek aluminium slats, are a modern and functional solution suitable for most rooms and a perfect option for narrow windows or areas with high moisture levels.

Perfect fit

Ideal for PVC windows and doors. With a complete frame, they give a perfect fit with drill-free installation. A modern solution for new window designs such as bifold doors and tilt and turn windows.

Roman

Roman blinds are a great alternative to curtains and can make any room more elegant. They consist of one piece of fabric that folds into pleats as the blind opens whilst providing an added layer of insulation.

Terms & Conditions

1. The following terms relate to the provision of bespoke curtains, blinds and other window treatments.

2. Our window treatment service is available throughout our Local Delivery Zones: London within the M25 in the south; Manchester, Liverpool and within 30 miles of Manchester in the north west. Outside of these zones, the service may be available by agreement though longer lead times, minimum order value and a distance surcharge may be applicable.

3. The lead times are typically 15 – 20 working days from acceptance of a quote to completion of installation, subject to availability of the requested fabrics. The estimated lead time will be advised on placing a confirmed order.

4. A site visit will be required to measure the windows and assess the layout, openings, fixings and any other relevant matters. Our technicians will use their expertise and judgement to specify the best solution for each window dressing taking account of all the circumstances. Unless any customer requests are agreed in writing, the window treatments will be manufactured and installed to these specifications. Some window openings are not perfectly square, and the ceiling and floor are not always exactly level, so the window treatment may not fit exactly in the opening or be precisely aligned to the floor or ceiling. There will need to be space around the window treatment to operate smoothly and to allow the window or door itself to open without interference. The bespoke window
treatment items will allow for these and will be supplied within the tolerances of industry norms for the product, manufacturing, and fitting.

5. David Phillips is responsible for booking appointments for measuring and fitting the window treatments with the client or any specified access contact. The client is responsible for arranging access for both measuring and fitting the window treatments. Any failure to provide the required access to all windows will delay the completion of the work and result in charges for additional visits.
David Phillips will contact the client to rearrange the visits.

6. The price of the site survey is included in the quoted price. It is non-refundable once booked.

7. If on measuring any significant issue is discovered that might result in an unsatisfactory solution or any significant additional cost or delay, David Phillips will advise the client to agree a resolution.

8. After measuring, David Phillips will arrange the bespoke manufacture of the specified window treatments. Once submitted for manufacturing, the order is non-refundable.

9. Our brochure provides technical specifications and maintenance instructions for all our regular fabrics. Due to printing and screen anomalies, the colour of the fabrics as they appear in our brochure, online, in a quote or shown on the screen may vary slightly from the actual fabrics supplied. Fabric samples can be provided on request. Note that the term ‘blackout’ refers to the fabric rather than the window treatment – most window treatments are liable to some light seepage
around the edges, and possibly through the stitching on the fabric.

10. Quotes for window treatments are valid for 30 days.

11. All our window treatments are compliant with the Child Safety Requirements of BS EN13120, the relevant fire safety regulations and all other pertinent safety legislation.
